Technical Writer

Design, develop, and write technical information online or in print. Produce documentation that complies with documentation plan requirements. Obtain technical information from variety of project owners; convert specific feedback into documentation. Respond to editorial and reviewer feedback. This is a change management team which is about documentations of content and processes.

 

Day to Day

Main objective is to improve the documentation (each single piece of documentation) framework and through that improve the readability of each single TSG (TSG = Technical Support Guide).

  • Review and get familiar with existing documentation and documentation tools. (10%)
  • Suggest improvements for existing documentation structure. (20%)
  • Implement improvements and trains CM team on improvement structure (20%)
  • Write/Update Technical documentation. Convert specific feedback into documentation. (50%)

 

Required Experience

  • 4+ years of Technical Writing experience
  • Experience reviewing documentation tools, suggesting improvements for existing documentation structure, implementing improvements and training users on improvement structure and writing/updating existing documentation.
  • Experience writing Technical Support Articles
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) experience
