Our healthcare client is looking for a Technical Writer to join their New Media and Web Strategy team to write and edit technical documentation for including but not limited to technical articles, reports, brochures, and or manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses. This self-motivated individual must be able to grasp complex software and data quickly and thoroughly. He or she must possess excellent communication skills and highly developed writing skills to deliver content that is relevant, practical and useful. Attention to detail and an aspiration for grammatical perfection are essential. He or she must be comfortable in an agile development environment and meet assigned deliverables prior to the end of sprint cycles. The candidate is also a true team player who is flexible to lend a hand on projects within other departments.

Responsibilities:
- Writes and edits technical documentation, including technical articles, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses.
- Communicates with software developers, researchers, project managers and client services members to gather documentation requirements
- Creates and manages content-specific targets based on media output and documentation requests by project managers and client services members.
- Analyzes existing and potential content for reuse and single-sourcing opportunities.
- Contributes to special projects when needed, proofing and editing content, layouts and graphics for client-facing documents and associated media.
