Qualifications:
Typically requires a BA/BS in computer science, engineering, or other related field and a minimum of 1-3 years of experience or equivalent training and/or experience. CISA, CISSP or other equivalent certifications preferred. Equivalent certifications should apply to 1 or more areas related to compliance, risk management, and information security; working experience with NERC CIP, SOX, HIPAA and PCI compliance process & security controls, firewalls, access control, encryption, data leakage prevention, etc., is desirable; Must be able to work effectively in a team and able to learn quickly. Must have experience with compliance and technical writing!

Responsibilities:
Responsible for documenting information technology risk and compliance activities allowing risk owners/managers and control owners/managers to understand their roles and to ensure compliance mandates and internal requirements are properly implemented, monitored and maintained. The position requires the individual to maintain industry recognized expertise and knowledge in technical writing, risk management, information security, information technology and financial/critical infrastructure/privacy compliance. Consults with business units to understand and gain guidance on regulations, compliance and risk management programs for documentation and resident experts with company products and services used to automate risk and compliance workflow and process. - Responsible for documenting the ongoing compliance activities for company and it’s compliance programs.- Responsible for day to day administration of company compliance documents and to automate risk and compliance activities.- Responsible or defining control requirements, standards and guidelines as well as ensuring the organizations Unified Control Workbook is up to date.- Develops and implements security compliance and risk documentation and monitors effectiveness and drives continuous improvements to compliance process and procedures. - Plan and execute against department approved strategies to ensure growth and maturity goals and objectives are satisfied; provides leadership and serves as a resource on legal, regulatory, and best practices on compliance issues to other department employees. - Performs other duties as assigned.
