Technical Support Analyst

As a SCM/Technical Support Analyst you will provide a high level of customer support for software applications on an enterprise suite of tools where expertise in a client server production environment is essential. 
You are often called upon to be the focal contact point for an application, group of applications, or specific customer group. You must be trained and knowledgeable about all applicable software - proprietary and third-party. Take an active role in the maintenance, and/or support of those applications on a day to day basis. You will oversee, maintain and coordinate the build and deployment management process per the defined process. 

The person will also work with the product development and quality assurance teams in developing and deploying enterprise software packages as well as bringing insight related to technical issues. Put in the due diligence needed to answer questions related to installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining all software while ensuring optimal system performance meets our requirements, specifications and designs needs. 
Requirements: 
A bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or a related degree plus 3 or more years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in software design, development and support for large scale enterprise operations, preferably in the oil and gas industry.  Experience must include: Software configuration management and support, administration of databases and products deployed for monitoring and reporting with strong advanced trouble-shooting. 
Ideal candidate will have: 
         Branching, Merging using Team Foundation Server (TFS) 
         Knowledge of MS Build and Build script language 
         PowerShell for automation 
         Virtualization using Hyper V 
         Managing build process templates (XAML files) 
         Creating build definitions (also, managing their security) 
         Troubleshooting build errors 
         Managing permissions on branches (TFS Groups/AD groups) 
         Using MTM (Microsoft Test Manager) 
         Setting up build controllers and test controllers 
• Working in an Agile development/test environment

Nice to Have: 
- 5+ years of experience in Production Support focused on server management and configuration, installation of enterprise applications, administration and deployment on high availability/fail over systems 
- Application monitoring and/or support, including analysis, maintenance of multiple OSs which include 
   Windows server 2012 and 2008, Linux (Oracle), and SQL server 
-Ability to review and deploy applications in Windows and Linux environments 
-Experience with software packages such as MQ, Splunk, Analytics and BI tools 
- Working knowledge of virtualized environments and remote maintenance 
- Understanding of Network configuration, IP subnets and load balancing 
- Ability to work unsupervised to manage day to day production task as needed
