Technical Requirements Analyst

The Technical Requirements Analyst will bridge the gap between the business requirements and the technical implementation of a vendor solution. Experience with Working knowledge of HP Quality Center and Quick Test Professional +++++++

1. Creation and management of the client's services technical interface documentation
2. Support data conversion planning and execution (development of a comprehensive data conversion plan to support the client's program launch)
3. Assist with external system dependency impact analysis (complete high level scoping and work estimation for the client's ITS system changes needed to support the project)

We are looking for candidates that have prior experience with enterprise IT implementations and have led a data conversion effort at some point.

Successful candidates will have 5-10 years of related professional experience as a technical requirements analyst, preferably in the transportation sector.
In-depth knowledge of the requirements analysis, documentation, and technical writing is required. A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent discipline is preferred.

Job Requirements
• Translate high-level business requirements into detailed and traceable
technical requirements
• Establish, reinforce, and support a robust process for ongoing technical
requirement documentation
• Ability to work independently while meeting project timelines
• Partner with developers and business analysts to accurately document
technical requirement
• Work with quality assurance team to ensure technical requirements support
creation of test scenarios
• Effective use of a variety of business analysis techniques including;
interviews, document analysis, and use cases
• Working knowledge of HP Quality Center and Quick Test Professional
• Serve as the conduit between the project team, internal customer community,
and the software development team

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, professionalism, and the
ability to interact with a diverse group, including executives, managers,
subject matter experts, and vendors
• Escalates issues as appropriate
• Utilizes prior experience in enterprise-wide requirements definition and
methodologies
• Works independently with users to define concepts and under direction of a
project manager
• Strong analytical skills are required, including a thorough understanding
of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into
technical specifications
