Technical Project Manager

Reporting into the VP Digital Technology, The Technical Project Manager will assist the delivery of existing projects.

This digital team works across the international product development of streaming digital products to global offices. The team provides strategic, analytical, development, product and project management expertise on complex projects.

The ideal candidate will have a background in project management in broadcast and OTT from a media company.



Responsibilities:

• Bridge the gap between non-technical business users, the product team and the development team.
• Assist in setting the expectations and communicate status internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage all 3rd party relationships from a technical level.
• Assist management in technical conversations with cable operators to facilitate authentication process (from a tech perspective) for our TVE product.
• Liaise between internal teams and 3rd party teams, arrange meetings and own deliveries.
• Identify and resolve any issues and if necessary escalate to leadership technical team accordingly.
• Build effective working relationships with senior stakeholders requesting delivery from their team.
• Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes accompanied by potential solutions.
• Understand, or leverage relevant subject matter experts to assess, the implications of different solutions (both process and technical), to be able to guide and drive to the best solution for the business.
• Prepare for and present at QA reviews and Steering Executive Committee Meetings.
• Prepare and present project status updates as required.
• Be Attentive to detail and possess a high-degree of follow-through.





Requirements:
• 1-2 years + experience in Technical PM role within Digital Media (ideally digital entertainment)
• Bilingual - Fluency in both English and Spanish is critical.
• Experience in broadcast media or media strongly preferred but not essential.
• Team Oriented, self-starter: ability to work in a team as well as to work and lead efforts independently. Fluency in digital and technical terminology, comfortable working with technology and development teams.
• Strong presentation and communication skills; ability to interface with business customers at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Direct experience working with and across various cultures.
• Exposure to a mixture of Waterfall, Agile, and Prince2 methodologies.
