Technical Project Manager

A popular NYC bakery is searching for an outstanding Technical Project Manager to join their growing development team. The ideal candidate for this position is extremely detail-oriented, with strong communication skills, and a high energy, proactive work style.

This is a full-time position, based at their corporate office in Union Square, NYC.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
-Manages development initiatives for e-commerce website and applications to ensure stability, accessibility, compatibility, usability, and security
-Provides detailed direction for development teams; creates wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and functionality specification documents. Advises on technical decisions and provides development recommendations
-Completes critical review of external teams' work to ensure proper implementation methods, best practices, and legal compliance; performs supplemental research as needed
-Directs communication with and between multiple teams
-Leads testing and QA on production and staging environments
-Creates and maintains technical and end-user documentation
-Provides first line end-user support; reviews and prioritizes bug reports; performs general troubleshooting and determines workaround solutions; escalates issues to external teams as necessary, and tracks through to resolution
-Manages implementation and maintenance of website analytics tools; assists with data reporting and analysis
-Manages website and server administration
-Additional duties as assigned

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
-Excellent problem solving, planning, and analytical skills - exceptional attention to detail is a must!
-Comprehensive knowledge of QA methodologies, modern web standards and best practices, general programming syntax and data structures; familiarity with the following:
-Infrastructure: AWS, AWS EC2, Windows, Linux, SQL Server, MySQL, AWS RDS
-Language/Frameworks: PHP, C#, ASP.NET, Flash, HTML 5, CCS, JavaScript
-Platforms: Google Analytics, Google Tag Management, Google AdWords
-Understanding of e-commerce practices, as well as implications of e-commerce for other departments/functional areas (e.g., brand, operations, fulfillment, etc.)
-Highly developed prioritization and time management skills; able to produce high quality work and bring projects through to completion with minimal direct supervision
-Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
-Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
-Minimum two years testing and/or development experience is required
-Bachelor's Degree is preferred
