Technical Project Manager

The Project Manager will provide project management in support of the delivery of web based SW and/
or content to client(s). In addition to traditional project management responsibilities, this position is
responsible for task management, risk assessment, relationship management, and estimating
responsibilities. Additionally, the individual will focus on driving process improvement, profitability, and
customer satisfaction as part of a team as well as individually.


• Engage client, account teams, cross-functional and subject matter experts in the development and
delivery of project

• Proactively identify potential project issues (i.e. process and/or technical) while identifying and
recommending optional solution paths.

• Identify and schedule project critical path milestones and required tasks.

• Effectively identify and implement project based change management across project lifecycle.

• Provide leadership and communication to teams throughout project life cycle.

• Prepare project status reports and continually update cross-functional team of project status, budgets,
burn and issues.

• Facilitate and participate internal and client meetings and execute sign-offs by business leaders.In
conjunction with account and creative technology teams, serve as primary point of contact with clients

• Resolve project issues post-implementation.


• Working knowledge of standard SDLC (Agile) and other technology/database methodologies. (ie:
Account, Creative, Database, Relational, Multi-Dimensional, etc).

• Working knowledge of the various advertising disciplines (Account, Creative, Strategy, Planning,
Analytics, Media, and Production).

• Interactive, direct and/or traditional marketing/analysis background

• Experience working in interactive agency environment

• Experience in leading UI/UX project teams

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills to identify, define, and evaluate requirements that will be
used to implement new or enhanced business solutions.

• Outstanding oral and written communication skills required; Ability to effectively facilitate internal
business and client meetings

• Business writing/documentation and presentation skills

• Proven work experience capturing scoping requirements

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong detail/organizational skills including an in depth understanding of project management

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, creative environment.

• Development background in LAMP or .net technologies is a plus


• 3-5 years interactive, direct and/or traditional marketing/analysis background. Agency experience

• Specific experience in web, email, marketing, advertising disciplines


• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a business, marketing or related field

• PMI certification preferred but not required
