Technical Program Writer II

Our Client's book reader team is looking for Technical Writers for writing instructional and reference documentation about our client's eBook production tools. The documentation includes user guides, release notes and reference materials. You will be expected to own documentation plans and works with others to write accurate, concise, and timely documentation. You are also expected to develop and write code examples and provide product usability feedback for the software development team.

- Establish rendering and reading experience requirements for international marketplaces
- Analyze source content conversion needs for international marketplaces and translate into requirements for our client's publishing tools
- Work closely with engineering teams and user interface designers to define detailed product requirements
- Measure and analyze existing platforms and competitors for opportunities to innovate, improve tool user engagement and increase adoption.
- Measure and analyze existing products and for opportunities to innovate and improve, providing additional benefits to customers.


Basic Qualifications
* B.E/B.Tech degree in computer science or related fields is required
* 2-4 years’ experience in technical writing for customer facing applications
* Ability to write clear, understandable prose
* Proficiency in desktop publishing tools
* HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus but not mandatory

Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; strong bias for action.
- Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into business and product requirements.
- A passion for digital media and the mobile space.
