Fortune 1000 electronics client is seeking a Technical Program Manager for a temp to perm position in their Farmington Hills, MI location. Possible relocation assistance provided for the right candidate.

Here's the gist:
The Technical Program Manager will lead a team of engineers, vendors, and providers through projects, adhering to budget and timeline all while building and managing a strong relationship with external customers (it's Detroit - who do you THINK the external customers are. . . . . .). The person in this role will also be responsible for establishing the project plans, building a business case, setting priorities and tracking success of initiatives. And you have to be able to stand in front of a room of "C" level leaders both internally and externally, sell them on your plan and report on project status.

Some clarifying facts:
- budgets can reach $25 million
- teams can be in excess of 40 people
- external customers are no joke
- travel up to 20% of the time is required
- international travel to Asia/Pacific, Europe and South America (among others) is required
- availability for evening conference calls is required

Must Haves:
- Everything already covered above
- Strong ability to build teams in remote locations and motivate them
- A "Whatever it takes" attitude (disclaimer - nothing illegal or unethical please!)
- Experience working with big clients
- Bachelor's degree

Preferences:
- Your Bachelor's degree be in engineering
- You can be available to begin working with two weeks notice (maybe more if you're really, really perfect and not already in the area. . . .)
- Experience in the electronics industry
- PMP certified (if you don't know what it is, you're not certified)

It's a tall order, we know. If you're awesome like that, let us know you're interested by applying today.
