Our client is looking for a Technical Product Manager. This is a Full-Time contract to hire role. The ideal talent will be responsible for but not limited to:

This product manager position will be responsible for managing consumer product technology platform:

Responsibilities for this position would include managing and optimizing the back-end platform functions. This role will create product road maps for the platform, define product requirements, and monitor the industry for trends or opportunities.

The ideal candidate should have experience with software product management or a technology background. This role will work closely with the IT development, security, and legal/compliance teams.

Responsibilities:

- Identifies and develops new platform features.

- Manages existing platform features including:

- Optimizing processes/technology

- Serving as business SME for the platform

- Addressing product defects

- Defines key measurements of product platform performance and success criteria.

- Remains current on market requirements and the latest competitive growth trends to analyze the need and timing for product development and enhancements.

- Works with a cross-functional team on the development, design, implementation and testing of new function, features and upgrades.

- Partners across the business to understand their needs and gather requirements.

- Evaluates key technologies and make recommendations on implementations.

Qualifications/Skills:

- 5 – 8 years of relevant work experience.

- Experience in technology product management or working with technology-related products and services.

- Hands on experience in Agile SDLC processes

- Experience with understanding complex systems

- Strong problem solving skills

- Industry experience working in a credit-related or information-based company is a plus.

- Ability to effectively interact with several constituencies, including IT, security, call center operations, etc.

- Demonstrated abilities interacting with technical, business and executive personnel.

- Experience working directly with technology vendors and business partners.

- Superior organizational and analytical skills and the ability to follow-through on complex tasks.

- Strong project management skills.

- Knowledge of and enthusiasm for technology in an Internet environment.

Education: Bachelors degree in a business or technology related major.
