Technical Producer for Learning/Entertainment TOP Company!

The initial focus will be centered on launching a new Elementary Learning products/services business for children age 5-12 years old. To support the startup of this new business/division, a position is being created, Technical Producer, which will report directly to the Senior Producer - Learning.

This company is looking for an experienced, creative and motivated Technical Producer to manage development of several aspects of the system. This individual should be able to make confident and intelligent decisions in a highly creative and fast-moving development environment that reflect a solid understanding of the business goals and strategies, while also maintaining the integrity and quality of the projects for which he or she is responsible. This multi-dimensional, technical position serves as a bridge between the Tech and Production teams, and this candidate will also work closely with the UI/UX Design, Art and Development teams. This role requires independent thought, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the foresight to involve management to help resolve difficult problems as they arise. The Technical Producer will be responsible for ensuring the overall quality and usability of features within the system and any associated consumer facing elements.

· Champion systems currently in production and facilitate transition to launch, scalability needs and release for use by 3rd parties

· Be an articulate advocate for the needs of the project and the team and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure success

· Manage the flow of assets and information between teams and team members and balance the priorities of a diverse group of stakeholders

· Be the main point of contact for internal developers and third party contractors and provide feedback and needs to these partners

· Accountable for the successful operation of the system during all hours

· Coordinate, contracts, amendments and payment of invoices for outside vendors; create and maintain budgets as needed

· Prepare presentation materials and demos

· Define, write and/or give feedback on planning and backlog organization

· Obtain necessary legal clearances, and management approvals for team initiatives

· Implement business intelligence tracking and prepare traffic and usage reports on an as-needed basis

· Manage the QA process, including bug tracking

· Ability to analyze mockups and identify elements with potential functionality, define them and articulate functionality concisely and clearly

· Provide general technical support and troubleshooting

· Embrace and uphold core vision throughout development while working with diverse stakeholders to identify and execute elegant solutions to meet that vision

· Create, coordinate, validate and maintain development schedules with PM group

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; ideally development background
· Minimum of 5 years of experience as a producer within the games industry, creating top quality games
· A genuine passion for games and a solid understanding of the gaming industry
· Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines
· Strategic, critical thinker with high attention to detail
· Ability to analyze and apply data on a daily basis to improve results
· Ability to collaborate effectively with other functional groups
