Vitamin T is working on an exciting Technical Project Manager role in Redmond! If you love solving clients' problems with technology, you may be the right person!

The Technical PM will work on mobile and applications development, web development projects with our clients. We are a rapidly growing company with an impressive client list and an increasing list of technically demanding and innovative projects. Our global delivery capabilities include a development team located in India and this role will include close communication and collaboration with them.

What you'll do (but not limited to):
• Manage project goals, scope, and project teams to ensure overall project success, including ownership of customer satisfaction.
• Help architect unique technical solutions and provide technical guidance to your teammates.
• Lead cross functional teams in the development and successful completion of small through large scale initiatives across a diverse set of projects, including strategy, user experience design and application development.
• Develop and proactively manage project plans, including scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and issues management.
• Responsible for project financial performance from estimation through project closing analysis.
• Participate in the presales process by reviewing project proposals, SOWs, risk, and ensuring alignment with priorities in order to achieve project success and most importantly customer satisfaction.
• Constantly monitor progress against the overall project plan, leading the team toward successful completion.
• Identify, communicate, and manage project issues and risks, notifying and/or escalating appropriately to the customer or internally.
• Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project.
• Set clear expectations, objectives, assignments and timing of individual and team deliverables.

What you need (but not limited to):
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience as a TPM in a professional services company managing the development or implementation of mobile, web applications and/or software products.
• Experience managing multiple projects in a customer facing environment.
• Experience with cloud based application solutions.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all staff and management levels.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills. Ability to not only present information but lead conversations.
• PMP certification a plus
• Understand SDLC and have a good grounding in software development and IT in general
• Experience with Microsoft Products including Office, IE, and Windows

Other requirements (nice to have):
• Experience with Windows 8 and Windows Phone a big plus
• Exposure to working in a SCRUM & Agile project management
• Experience with software agile project management use of Jira (with Green Hopper extensions)
• Experience with Office 365
