Technical Integration Support Engineer

Our client is looking for a technical integration support engineer to serve as the primary point of contact between our game teams and platform infrastructure. The individual should have a technical background and be comfortable with basic programming tasks. The individual should have strong communication skills, be detail oriented and most of all enjoy helping other engineers succeed. A successful support engineer is proactive in forming relationships with other engineers, and comfortable changing focus as needed to switch between writing test code, investigating integration issues, and documenting APIs as needed.


Act as the primary point of contact between game team engineers and platform engineers in order to triage and resolve integration support related issues.

Help design and document the process of game integration in web-based documentation software

Debug integrations - understand an issue technically in order to resolve it directly or route it to the appropriate group for next steps.

On-board game teams - integrate game teams with the platform by collecting required information and performing various configuration related tasks as needed.

Make it better - improve visibility into the on-boarding process, reduce time and communication needed to on-board teams, reduce all forms of friction

Automate it - where possible automate various checks and on-boarding actions to reduce manual effort.


Experience maintaining unix based systems. (You know how to ssh into a box, search an apache log file, and debug configuration issues)

Experience with SQL databases. (You are comfortable connecting to a database and examining records if needed)

Some programming experience in Java, shell scripting, or python. (You can identify actions that are redundant and automate them)

Must have great communication skills, be very detail oriented, and always willing to help other engineers.

Able to quickly understand a large system composed of many different dependent services - a high level understanding of what each services does and how it depends on other services is necessary to effectively triage and investigate problems.

Nice to have:

Experience using Atlassian Confluence

System Administrator experience

B.S. in Computer Science (or equivalent) and at least 3 years hands-on experience maintaining unix based services.
