Technical Engagement Manager

Are you someone that can make a huge impact on this eCommerce client's ability to drive business development? Are you equally comfortable digging in to business requirements as drilling into metrics development? Then this is the position for you. Client needs a world class Engagement Manager to own and integrate key sellers across a variety of platforms and to develop, maintain, and grow relationships within the selling on client's product offering. They are making a strategic investment in a brand new B2B business. In this role, you will have to truly shape its future!

The Technical Engagement Manager must be able to balance client's objectives with the needs of the seller while driving the Merchant integration process. The Engagement Manager will work with sales, product management, and engineering to identify product improvements that have global relevance and will work to drive the voice of the seller for those improvements. Additionally, the Engagement Manager will analyze the effectiveness of seller activities and recommend opportunities for improvement.

Job functions include:
Daily/weekly contact with managed sellers via phone and email
Maintain records of contacts, projects with sellers, progress, and metrics
Research to analyze seller needs and form conclusions about what features and services will drive incremental performance
Gathering facts and metrics about seller issues that need to be driven to solutions through bug reporting, feature requests, or process changes; set priorities and develop plans
Identifying areas for operational improvement for sellers, and developing plans for process changes and issues resolution
Working with internal partners to build consensus around solutions and drive the voice of the seller into all activities impacting and relating to customer success
Staying current on the latest internal merchant success factors and external e-commerce sales and optimization techniques
Create reports and clearly communicate ideas to all stakeholders (internal and external), including senior management


Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of operational or customer service experience
3+ years Excel experience: complex formula and data presentation skills required
3+ years of experience in a technical field or equivalent education
Experience with project delivery for large, cross functional projects
Bachelor's degree is required

Preferred Qualifications:
Desire to grow the business by providing the highest quality customer experience is a must
Track record of successful internal and external relationship management, and driving results
Think both strategically and tactically; independent thinking for creative solutions
Strong attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects including work prioritization, resource coordination, planning, and task delegation
The ideal candidate will have a track record of managing and troubleshooting data integration projects
Previous experience with XML as a data exchange tool is a definite plus
Experience with Web Services APIs (AWS, MWS) will be key for this role
