We are looking for an amazing Technical Editor to:

• Write and/or update technical content in conformance with corporate standards and guidelines. This content will focus on reference and administration topics for IT pros.
• Write new/update existing technical articles about desktop deployment, administration, and security for deployments by researching customer issues and responding with content.

This includes:
• Researching customer issues
• Revising existing articles based on customer feedback and requests
• Updating, maintaining, and publishing technical posters
• Provide screen shots and simple conceptual art where appropriate
• Make changes to topics for discoverability, linking, look-and-feel, and other group-wide projects, as directed by manager.


• Write new/update existing technical articles about the tools deployments by researching customer issues and responding with content.

This includes:
• Revising existing articles in accordance with changes necessitated by software updates.
• Creating new articles if software updates introduce new functionality.
• Creating or updating articles that are related to other software updates or service pack releases.
• Communicating with the appropriate program managers and staff to make sure the content is accurate and meets corporate and guidelines.

• The Technical Editor will prepare Resource Kit articles for publishing.

This includes:
• Assessing which articles need to be reproduced for the content set and which can be deprecated.
• Tagging the documents, as necessary
• Updating the articles to make sure changes, deprecations, system requirements, and other essential information is available in the Resource Kit.
