Technical Artist

We are looking for a technical artist that can review assets that are being delivered from the outsourcing vendor to check for quality, provide feedback from a technical art perspective, and start building the pipeline to get 1P content from vendors published.

TOP 3 must-have skills:
a.) Building a pipeline or art assets from scratch (5+ years)
b.) Leading production of an art pipeline (5+ years)
c.) Video Game Industry experience

Designs and implements non-linear, animated sequences for prototypes or other types of work (i.e. emulation software) using a variety of multimedia authoring tools. May debug existing user-interface layouts and conform the user-interface to design specifications by modifying UI layouts and scripting animations. May create mock software that will look and feel like a real program. May influence design style of overall product. May lead a team of multimedia production artists. Acts as consultant to other team leads to evangelize the capabilities of Action Scripting and other multimedia authoring tools.

Skills:
• 3 plus years work related experience required.
• Experience with object-oriented programming and interactive scripting languages (i.e. Flash/Action Scripting, Director/Lingo Scripting, JavaScript) may be required.
• Experience with web technologies (i.e. XML, XSL, CSS, DHTML, etc) required.
• Must have experience consulting on high level projects and acting as the authoring lead.
• Experience working with other team leads to integrate Flash and/or Lingo into a shipped product preferred.
• Must have excellent design sensibilities and understanding of the design and production processes.
• Strong project management skills preferred. Portfolio review required. Bachelor’s degree in multimedia or related field required.
