System Analyst & Project Manager

This position supports the Global Rider Training Expansion project by being responsible for managing all aspects of the system project, including but not limited to: project management and documentation, system analysis and recommendations, and stakeholder communication. A thorough analysis of the current Student Management System (SMS) which supports the US Riding Academy program as well as researching potential system updates or upgrades needed to support future state and global expansion of the Riding Academy Program.

This person will work closely with GIS and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), leading the effort for gathering system requirements, functional design, defining current/future state, formulating results, and providing recommendations to key stakeholders.

Key Results Areas (KRAs)
Project Management
• Identify project requirements and development of; project charter, stakeholder analysis, communication plan, risk assessment, milestones, timeline, budget, etc.
• Develop and manage work plans and estimates to accomplish system project implementation
• Maintains project documentation with any changes occurring throughout the project’s life cycle
• Incorporate Risk Mitigation into project plan
• Provide status updates and progress reports to department manager
• Collaborate with resources from various cross-functional areas (GIS, Riding Academy, Customer Experience Leadership team, operations, etc.) to assist in the definition and planning of project

System Analysis - Update/Upgrade Development
• Develop or contribute to the development of business cases as required
• Develop and manage Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP)
• Potentially participate in the system selection process for 3rd party software components
• Potentially participate in the system software design process as needed or appropriate
• Potentially assist in preparing change management plan - implementation and conversion plans and procedures

• Interact intelligently and professionally with variety of stake holders via numerous communication channels
• Define and facilitate project communication plan

Continuous Improvement
• Analyze data from questionnaires, interviews, and group discussions to evaluate system offerings
• Ensure recommendations provided support future business and program growth
