Synergy and Brand Manager

Our Entertainment Client is looking for a proactive, creative, detail-oriented synergy/marketing manager to join a the team for approximately five months. The synergy manager supports the business units in managing day to day marketing/synergy support, with special attention to key tent pole events.

This position is responsible for engaging businesses to integrate consumer-facing campaign elements, managing consistent identities across touch points, and measuring the efforts in the marketplace.

The ideal candidate will have experience in marketing and/or franchise management. To be successful, this person must be proactive, resourceful, detail oriented and capable of managing multiple projects with limited supervision. Additionally, very strong communication skills (both verbal and written), strong creative sensibilities, and strong project management skills are needed.

Core Responsibilities:
This person will engage business units on integration and activation of the consumer campaign, increasing reach across the company.

Key responsibilities include:
" Be the departmental 'expert' on the consumer campaign - Serve as synergy point of contact for businesses and proactively work with them to support integration, with an eye towards expanding campaign and activation experiences ...with quality and brand consistency
" Manage, update, and distribute brand management tools (e.g., key message maps, style guides, synergy calendar, one sheets, premiums) - reviewing all business-driven concepts for brand assurance, quality, and consistency
" Work with various groups to manage the coordination of 'on-air to online' communications to ensure consistent consumer experience; ensure online polls are updated to work towards corporate goals
" Work with businesses and Corporate to capture results and help to ensure goals are achieved; refresh plans as needed to optimize results
" Track and manage budget invoices
" Deliver year-end recap document that communicates activation and impact

This role will enable business units to activate consumer elements w/ quality, ultimately amplifying our role as parents partner in healthy living and driving positive brand equity

This person will pay special attention to project managing / coordinating synergy support for two campaign tent poles.

Key responsibilities include:
" Review content and concepts for brand assurance and quality consumer experience
" Route, compile, and communicate updates to all key internal stakeholders (all synergy partners, + senior leadership as needed) to ensure optimal business unit awareness and activation
" Ensure timely on air ' to on line ' to in market coordination of consumer information and assets
" Proactively coordinate with corporate citizenship communications team on communications need, including related press releases to ensure corp messaging is integrated
" Track and manage budget invoices
" Manage program reporting to communicate activation and impact

Qualifications:
" Bachelor's degree
" Three to five years experience in brand and/or franchise management, licensing, marketing, project management, or event management
" Experience and proven track record with a premier media and entertainment or consumer packaged goods company.
" Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
" Strategic planning, time management, and organizational skills required. Ability to manage multi-faceted projects.
" Highly collaborative and team-oriented work style.
" Solutions-oriented individual who can manage the needs of diverse stakeholders.
" Flexible work style, with the ability to prioritize activities, manage timelines, and deal effectively under pressure.
" Proven accountability
" Advanced Microsoft Suite knowledge with Excel and PPT. Strong writer and verbal presentations skills
