Market Researcher

Overview 
As a Market Research Specialist for 3+ months at a Fortune 500 multi-national tech company in Mountain View,  you will be responsible for executing survey research-related tasks to better understand advertiser segment and their experience with the client's advertising programs and products. 

In doing this, you will be running supporting analysis of survey data (analysis of quant and qual data, as well as QA), running survey studies (designing, verifying, programming questionnaires), coordinating research operations (email invite sends, vendor coordination). 

Main responsibilities 

  • Conduct data analysis and some statistical analysis on large data sets 
  • Program surveys into survey tools 
  • Conduct quality checks into survey programming 
  • Implement changes and feedback in surveys 
  • Coordinate research operations (email sends, vendor coordination, etc) 

Requirements 

  • Bachelors degree required, no required field 
  • 3+ Years of experience in a research type role 
  • Expertise/experience working with at least one statistical package (eg. R, SPSS, SQL) 
  • Proven analytical and data analysis skills (e.g., descriptive statistics, experience creating charts, understanding of different data types and appropriate applications for each, etc) 
  • Understand functions and applications of survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics) 
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills (written and oral) 
  • Excellent organizational skills/ability to work under tight deadlines with little supervision 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Working knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets, Slides (or MS Office) 

Nice to have: 
1-2 years of SQL experience 
Primary market research or experience working with digital/online agencies
