Supply Chain Coordinator / Intern

Goal: Optimized levels of component inventory through the implementation of strategic supply chain agreements with suppliers and inventory management strategies. 

Educational, Mental, or Certification Requirements: 
• Bachelor’s degree (or major) in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering discipline required. 
• SAP Experience/knowledge preferred. 

General Job Duties: 
• Responsible for order placement and verification of delivery with suppliers. 
• Write Logistics Specifications which are reviewed by Supply Chain Manager prior to issuance to Purchasing and/or Supplier/s 
• Bill of Materials (BOM) communication to suppliers (new code creation, phase-in materials, substitutions) 
• Assist with creating process control and training documents 
• Implement forecasting and supply planning process improvements 
• Improve interfaces between teams. 
• Resolve non-conformities of product, documentation of service 
• Resolve freight service, claims, invoicing issues and PO credits 
• Review order acknowledgements. 
• Review price changes and analyze impact. 
• Forecast future requirements for suppliers. 
• Optimize, monitor and track transportation shipments for our customers while balancing service and cost using the transportation management system. 
• Maintain regular partner communications with other company employees, supervisors, and managers to assess delivery data status, supplier performance, parts deployment, inventory policies and/or continuous improvement efforts to achieve short and long-term goals 
• Report and analyze key performance indicators. 
• Project management services for process improvement and technology solutions 
• Support internal and external sales representatives with product information. 
• Provide summaries and analyses 
• Set-up new items into demand planning. 
• Test linking to other pyramids and verify data integrity. 
• Document new processes. 
• Assist with a wide variety of inventory and inventory control functions. 
• Reconcile physical stock count against perpetual quantity.
