Super Exciting Immediate Contract: Digital Project Coordinator

In this contract position you will assist with the coordination of marketing projects beginning with the inception through the creative process.
Act between project initiators within the Marketing division, Creative/Production and Operations to ensure project requirements are understood
and that the creative development and production also meet the requirements.
Assemble the project team and is the primary point of communication of the project scope and schedule, while operating within the approved project budget (when applicable).
Partner with project stakeholders to resolve issues that threaten successful project completion utilizing problem solving, negotiation,
influencing and escalation to keep projects on schedule.
Direct process adherence and optimization to increase human resource efficiency.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Coordination of Internal and External Communications
• Maintains current project information including Strategic Briefs, Creative Briefs and Print Production
Specifications from project initiator for assigned projects. Reviews and confirms information is accurate and only current information is shared with creative teams.
• Oversees scheduling and management of creative projects and ensures project teams have accurate schedule information.
• Communicates project scope, schedule and status to appropriate stakeholders.
• Communicates approved scope and schedule changes to relevant stakeholders.

BUILD and MAINTAIN BUSINESS PARTNERSHIPS
• Partners with project stakeholders to plan all work required to meet the project objective(s).
• Escalates issues as required to Marketing Leadership for resolution
• Monitors creative projects throughout creative development and at all milestones of project schedule to maintain timely file completion. Works with Creative/Production and Operations on schedule changes and updates to resolve late issues and workflow interruptions.
• Partners with Creative/Production teams to maintain complete and open communication process.


PROCESS ADHERENCE and EDUCATION
• Identify and capture metrics of the specific project that demonstrates successful project performance
• Scan the environment for project improvement opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
• Ability handle, prioritize and organize multiple projects while managing and mitigating risk and change
• Excellent communication, organization and time management skills
• Experience working in a project management capacity or strong desire to learn project management methodologies

PREFERRED:
• Strong negotiation and partnering skills
• Experience using Project Planning Software (Ex, MS Project)
• Extensive experience word processing and spreadsheet applications
• Experience working in retail, and agency, or a marketing department
• College education or equivalent working experience
