Studio Manager

Our cool ad agency client is seeking an experienced traffic coordinator with outstanding project management and client skills. He/she must possess exceptional organization skills with the ability to contribute to account management, creative discussions and resourcing outside production resources for a wide range of clients.

Responsibilities:

• Processes project memos and coordinates deliverables, schedules and materials specifications with assigned account and creative teams.
• Traffics all jobs within the agency, including monitoring status of jobs daily, preparing weekly job status reports for account management, creative and production, and conducting weekly traffic and resourcing meetings.
• Develops, tracks and owns project timelines for offline and online assignments
• Integrates and manages assets for offline and online media vehicles
• Prepares asset instructions in cooperation with account management and traffics all approved final assets per media schedules.
• Manages contracts, invoicing and W-4s for individual talent or agency for the accounting team; also handles talent reuse and upgrades.
• Reviews project scope with creative and production teams, to finalize budget estimates with the account team.
• Assists accounting in processing and obtaining approvals on production invoices.
• Types correspondence, memos and other documents for creative department.
• Processes copy and distributes to account teams.
• Manages creative project calendar and distributes account team correspondence to the creative department.
• Is organized, accurate, and detail-oriented.
• Keen understanding of digital, broadcast and print production.
• Word-processes with accuracy and speed.
• Represents the agency effectively with media, vendors and suppliers.
• Maintains client and agency confidences.
• Works effectively with other creatives, as well as account management, media, accounting, and administrative staff.
• Report to Creative Director
• Intercepts phone calls and requests for creative directors, as needed.

Requirements:
• 4+ years professional traffic experience within an advertising agency
• BA, BFA, or advanced degree in Fine Arts, Design, Advertising or a related field
• Knowledge of Adobe CS Suite products: InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator (Mac OS)
• Mastery of Microsoft Office
• Ability to be both hands-on and provide clear direction to others, supervise multiple people on multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated leadership, people management and coaching skills
• A reasonably good sense of humor
