Aquent is looking to hire a Studio Manager to oversee an established group of Designers and Production Artists. (Both Print and Digital based resources)

This Studio Manager will focus on making sure their team is productive and following established Studio processes.

The Studio Manager will not only manage the day to day business, but be a key influencer in building the Studios' brand through ensuring fast and accurate delivery.

Above all else, the Studio Manager should be making sure their team is Efficient, Detailed, Accurate and Fast.


Work load balancing of their staff, making sure Designers/Production Artists are busy and billable.
Manage the daily and weekly team resource planning and coordination
Oversee billing and utilization of each staff member, making sure weekly billable goals are hit.
Trouble shoot any issues their staff members have, The Studio Manager may need to seek out and research information with Clients, Account Managers or other internal resources, making sure their team members have the necessary information to do their jobs.
The Studio Manager will have the ability to juggle a large range of ongoing projects.
Will be a great communicator and have a meticulous attention to detail.
They should love working in a fast paced environment with a high volume of projects to complete.
The Studio Manager should be able to coach their team members and support staff as a day to day resource for any questions/concerns.
Running Studio Resource/Traffic meetings and assigning tasks to team members
Work closely with the Operation Director to ensure operational issues are addressed within the Studio
Ensure all team members are held accountable for their deliverables
Organize and attend other organizational meetings as necessary
Coach staff members who need help or may not be fulfilling their requirements, serve as a liaison to filter information to other groups
Coordinate recruitment and hiring of new staff, train new and existing team members, and lead them
Create a culture that motivates and inspires the team
Plan, coordinate and execute studio events
Ideal candidates will have previously managed Design resources, they will have an understanding of both print and digital/mobile projects.

They will be comfortable with an aspect of Traffic Management, as the Studio Manager will be responsible for making sure their team is assigned the appropriate amount of projects to maintain profitability and efficiency.

The Studio Manager should be comfortable dealing with other Sr. Leads within the organization and should have an eye on always maintaining an efficient, nimble team. The Studio Manager will have input on how to expand and grow the team if necessary.
