A leading global information services company is on the lookout for a Strategy Manager to add to their Customer Services Team. This company helps businesses to manage credit risk, prevent fraud, understand consumer behaviour and target marketing campaigns and automate decision making. Experian also helps individual consumers with a range of online services. A FTSE 100 company they employ approximately 17,000 people in 40 countries.

The Customer Services department is a very exciting and fast moving division and continues to grow at a faster rate than any other business within the organisation. They are passionate about consumers and developing products and services to meet their needs, based on the core assets of data and intelligent analytics and insight.

The role of Strategy Manager is to support the Head of Strategy in creating and embedding the strategy and planning for the UK&I, to identify new business opportunities both organically and through M&A and to work with counterparts across UK&I to support our diversification and growth ambitions. The role holder will also support the Head of Strategy in corporate development activity in line with UK&I and Global strategy and implement key strategic initiatives.

This role provides a great opportunity for an ambitious individual who is looking to take the next step up in a progressive, fast growing organisation to help shape and embed the strategy across the department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Delivering ad hoc strategy projects, such as competitor analysis, business development, new market entry or financing strategy.
Assisting the business to deliver the strategy, translating strategic recommendations into actionable plans and ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Translate the primary research from Insights team into meaningful strategic recommendations.
Write and structure effective presentations and papers to successfully present and influence senior leadership and communicate strategic proposals.
Engage and influence constructively and successfully with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of seniority to ensure plans are effectively shaped, understood, and communicated.
Lead and manage discrete projects, delivering them on time and within budget.
Conduct high level financial analysis and build business cases to assess the returns on strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Must have:
Experience of operating in a strategic environment – either in consultancy or in-house strategy team
Operated in a complex organisation and proven senior stakeholder management
Commercially astute with experiencing of creating credible business cases and presented to senior leadership
Degree of equivalent (e.g. Business Studies, Mathematics, Sciences, Statistics)
Advanced in MS Excel and Powerpoint
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
Excellent all round communication skills specifically negotiation and influencing

Exposure of a large corporate environment
Experience in Digital and consumer businesses
