My client, one of Australia’s leading agencies, are on the hunt for a Strategic Planner to join them as they continue to produce award-winning, memorable work that connects people with brands.
My client, one of Australia’s leading agencies, are on the hunt for a Strategic Planner to join them as they continue to produce award-winning, memorable work that connects people with brands.

The Strategic Planner is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the client's Brand and Marketing Plans, with a strong focus on identifying consumer needs and delivering on them. They will work with internal creative, strategic and account service teams, to position the brand to meet those needs.

The agencies relationship with the clients will start from facilitating initial workshops and briefing sessions, through to ongoing interaction at a senior level. This role will be heavily involved in new business pitches with clients ranging from SMEs through to large multinationals.

Day to day you will be working across three key clients within the agency in the Travel, Retail and Luxury space.

The core deliverables for the role are:
* Developing Marketing Strategies and Plans
* Facilitating briefing workshops with clients
* Implementing, managing and analysing research
* Briefing in media plans to Media Buying Agency
* Partnering with the wider team on new business pitches


You will come to this role with:
• 4+ years in a Planning role
• Extensive experience in developing Marketing Strategies and Plans
• Workshop facilitation and research experience
• Up-to-date on industry and digital trends
• You will have come from a traditional planning background under the guidance of a solid planner.
