Strategic Marketing/Project Manager

Our large financial client is in need of a Marketing Manager to join their team for a 3-6 month contract assignment with the possibility of the position turning permanent. Please take a look at the description below and APPLY NOW if you are interested!

Job Summary:
Leads marketing teams in planning, implementing, and measuring integrated marketing communications efforts encompassing traditional and interactive channels. Supports Marketing Communications Manager by assuming project management and leadership of marketing communications initiatives. Manages relationships with internal clients and external agencies. The level of work required is considered advanced and staff must be able to work under minimal supervision.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
-Leads teams to develop and execute integrated marketing communications plans in support of the business objectives of internal clients. Develops programs with clear objectives and success metrics, effective segmentation, and thorough execution plans encompassing, as appropriate, events, publications, direct mail, sales support, interactive and internal communication components.
-Leads communication of plans, details, status and results of large, high visibility projects to key stakeholders to ensure project success and enhance business decision making processes
-Leads teams to plan and execute marketing trade-shows, meetings and special events, including event strategy, creative, logistics, budgeting, vendor management and client service.
-Creates and manages project plans and budgets.
-Understands business, political and budgetary constraints and develops strategic business plans within those environments
-Develops business case justifications and partners with analytics staff to determine appropriate program metrics and track and report outcomes to demonstrate value of marketing activities
-Manages agencies, contractors and internal support resources to deliver services as required, including providing direction, resources and feedback as needed
-Serves as senior editor and ensures that communication deliverables meet business requirements for cost, timing, quality, etc

Education & Experience:
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as noted below
-5 to 10 plus years of direct work related experience, including interactive marketing experience
-MARKETING AGENCY OR AGENCY RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE BENEFICIAL
