Strategic Internal Communications Specialist

-very strong writer able to develop and execute strategic communications plans and write clearly about complex technical subjects (samples required); journalistic approach to writing preferred
-minimum of 5-7 years corporate writing/communications experience (more preferred)
-superb people skills; professional poise/diplomacy are critical
-flexible and adept at functioning in a matrixed environment (isn't frustrated or thrown by potentially numerous "cooks in the kitchen"); willing and able to go with the flow, supporting and managing various clients and other team members as needed and as circumstances change
-very well organized; strong eye for detail
-focused on delivering high-quality deliverables quickly
-willing to ask questions, share updates, and communicate with team members often
-internal communications experience beneficial

Job Responsibilities:
-serve as member of Internal Communications (IC) team, providing communications support to various clients (including back-up support to other IC team members) as assigned/needed
-serve as communications liaison, working closely with clients and communications team including client account managers, web and design teams, enterprise communications (corporate channels) team, and IC management as applicable/needed
-draft and deliver communications such as intranet articles, executive talking points, communications plans, web content (including light hands-on web support), and other corporate communications materials for clients
-perform other internal communications work (photography, proofreading, etc.) as assigned/needed
