Strategic Communcations Consultant

As Senior Communication Consultant, you'll develop and execute a strategic communications plan over the next 6 months to support strategies for internal and external communication around the Affordable Care Act (ACA). In this role, you'll act independently, and interact frequently with the firm's leaders.

Responsibilities
• Partner with company’s management, to understand business objectives, establish strategic plans and processes around the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
• Work very closely to develop strategic plans and communication with internal and external stakeholders (HR, C-Suite, and other senior level leaders).
• Display the ability to navigate within a global professional services company.
• Coordinate strategies within designated departments, to help educate and inform the firm across multiple venues.
• Ability to focus on the internal responsive and proactive efforts of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
• Develop and execute a strategic communications plan over the next 6 months.
• Analyze appropriate communications channels, to build firms awareness.
• Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Facilitate communications and manage PR and Media relationships


Knowledge and skills requirements

• This individual would ideally have experience supporting a multiple faceted program, especially with a regulatory and legislative focus.
• Excellent project management, client service, team-building, internal and external communication skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Proven track record in strategic communication
• Proficient with standard technology including Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, Lotus Notes, PowerPoint and internet


Qualifications

Experience
• A minimum of 12 years related experience
• Bachelor's degree; Masters degree preferred
