opportunity is a five-month commitment for one of the industries leading CPG companies! Our client is looking for a well-rounded experienced category manager to lead strategic analysis of the Natural Snack category for the company, including category, subcategory, competitive and brand analysis. This role will help drive the Sales agenda by collaborating with and providing thought leadership to senior managers. In addition, this position will be accountable for tracking share performance across the Total US (Total Division and by Region / Channel /Account), providing insights on performance drivers and for making recommendations on how and where to improve brand performance.

Did you know that the CPG industry is one of the most innovative, diversified and collaborative industries out there? As a Strategic Analytics and Data Mining Specialist you will succeed in utilizing your communication, IRI and Nielsen skills. You will interact with other team members to:
• Data mining of syndicated data to develop category insights
• Provide analytic support on share, share of market, competitive activity - ongoing evaluation of pricing, assortment, velocities and competitive activity
• Share analysis and providing recommendations on how to improve performance
• Leveraging data to identify, measure, and quantify marketplace trends and opportunities
• Finding key gap closure opportunities
• Developing customer presentations
• Manage supporting analytics on key sales initiatives including big bet development & execution
• Tracking and reporting Brand / SKU Level performance
• Maintaining frequent and fluid communication within and among functional teams regarding projects, insights, and/or opportunities
