Store Planner

The Retail Store Planner is an exciting opportunity for a highly collaborative, entrepreneurial individual. This person will support all store planning efforts, with particular focus on assortment plans and merchandise strategies for new store openings and seasonal floor sets. They will be an integral part of the distribution and merchandise planning teams, communicating guidelines for allocation deadlines and initial allocation strategies. They will work closely with the store operations team to track and recommend actions on execution strategies relating to store assortments. They will review existing store assortments and recommend adjustments to optimize inventory productivity at each location, and maintain store profiles to assist in the categorization of stores by type, customer purchasing patterns, and market demographics.

Essential Functions
* Manage the creation of store assortment plans
* Partner with Store Operations team to execute on-time delivery of goods to stores for openings and seasonal floor sets. Will require some travel.
* Partner with Distribution Planners to set new store allocation deadlines and track progress of allocations
* Track and report on inventory levels of core skus, highlighting potential inventory risks and opportunities
* Monitor store assortment breadth and depth to maximize sales and profitability
* Participate in assortment planning for special store projects and merchandise programs
* Partner with store teams to address inventory needs across all categories
* Create and maintain store profiles that capture market trends, location characteristics, customer behavior, and competitive landscape at each store location

Requirements/Qualifications
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree
* 1 - 2 years allocation experience. Store experience a plus.
* Basic knowledge of retail math
* Must be able to work autonomously and independently on assigned projects
* Highly motivated and results-oriented
* Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects and in a timely manner
* Demonstrates strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
