Aquent has an immediate opportunity for a Store Merchandise Assistant with a top retailer in Plano. This is a six month temporary position, on-site at 40 hours a week.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience
• Excel, Outlook
• Communication, teamwork, detail oriented
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
• Ability to learn and effectively execute data entry into Item Set up and Purchase Order applications
• Attention to detail in collecting Item Attributes and entering them into our Item application
• Drive to consistently meet performance standards for the role including productivity, timeliness and attendance.

Job Description

Collaborates with the Assistant Buyer to understand item set-up needs. Collects necessary information (item attributes) to set-up items by working with ABs, Suppliers and IBOs.
Performs data entry of item information into the product database while ensuring quality and consistency of data attributes across channels.
Maintains and manages changes to items in the product database.
Develops expertise in item set-up as well as the relationship of ITEM fields to downstream systems which are fed by RMS Item.
Creates purchase orders at direction of Buying team.
Completes special projects as assigned by Merchandise Operations Centralization Manager
Consistently meets established performance standards for the role, including (but not limited to) productivity, timeliness, and attendance.
