Staffing Associate

We are looking to hire a dynamic Recruiting Associate to join our fast-paced Talent Acquisition team. This role requires someone who is resourceful, possesses an ingrained sense of urgency while being detail oriented. You are someone who delights in providing a high quality candidate/client experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting client groups throughout the recruiting processes; internal and external candidate management on requisitions; document collection; troubleshooting internal programs and recruiting tools; maintaining data integrity of requisitions in applicant tracking systems, ensuring prompt information updates; drafting and extending of internal offers, as well as providing guidance with respect to compensation and relocation for candidates, including domestic and international internal candidates who will need guidance and support through the Visa Evaluation/eligibility assurance process.

Responsibilities:
• Main point of contact to assist the hiring manager (HM) with offer and post-offer phases of complex internal recruiting, including consulting with HM on hiring decisions, level recommendations, compensation and offer strategies; preparing and presenting offers to candidates.
• Provide administrative and logistical support to the Lead Recruiter, such as drafting offer letters; initiating background checks, immigration and relocation; tracking and communicating start dates to candidates/hiring managers; reconciling expense accounts and helping to support events/career fairs.
• Ownership of internal recruitment from initiation to onboarding.
• Effectively utilize the CRM software and Outlook, to communicate & complete all customer requests.
• Utilize, maintain, and record candidate recruiting activity in applicant tracking system (E-Rec) to legal and corporate regulations and standards.
• Process domestic and international candidates, including details regarding relocation and visa processing.
• Provide excellent candidate & client experience.
• Respond within service level agreements to a high volume of requests in a fast paced environment.
• Create and implement special projects as directed.
• Work in collaboration with the Vancouver HR team on site specific objectives.

Requirements:
• 3 years Recruiting Coordinator and/or HR experience in a fast paced environment.
• Must have ability to prioritize work from multiple internal/external clients in a high volume environment.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Effective written and verbal communication as well as attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficiency with Office Suite & internet based applications.
• BA/BS degree in business, communications, human resources or related discipline strongly preferred.
