Aquent's Client's Global Corporate Citizenship team is seeking a Sr. Marketing Manager – a marketing professional who will play an integral role in creating and implementing the overall marketing and communications strategy for their corporate citizenship work, including their Foundation. This person will be responsible for developing strategic marketing plans and executing campaigns and initiatives to build and strengthen their corporate responsibility reputation globally. The Sr. Marketing Manager will partner with the Foundation and CSR program directors to shape program strategies, develop marketing and communications plans to drive program goals, execute programs and analyze results. Cross-collaboration with other marketing and PR stakeholders across Verizon business units and regional teams will be critical to this role.

The candidate must have proven success directing a full range of communication and marketing initiatives. A successful candidate will show experience that spans strategic planning, execution of program campaigns, events, tradeshows, conferences, advertising, channel management, and online/offline content creation. The candidate must demonstrate an ability to work and communicate with a wide range of people and personalities including executive management, other functional leaders, internal clients, external partners, and vendors.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities (60% marketing; 40% public relations)
 Reports to the Director, Marketing Communications & Stakeholder Engagement and works closely with the Foundation and CSR directors
 Create and implement strategic marketing and communications plans that support program goals and drives the overall brand
 Create engagement opportunities for stakeholder audiences (nonprofits, NGOs, strategic alliances, employees, policy makers) and tailor messaging and communication plans accordingly
 Execute and analyze results for advertising and marketing and PR campaigns
 Oversee messaging , content, and promotion of regional and national events, conferences/speaking engagements, and tradeshows
 Oversee the development of creative assets (collateral, video, photography, infographics, premiums)
 Drive PR strategy —collaborate on PR strategies, monitor media tracking, promotions and media advertising for an external audience of media influencers and bloggers
 Serve as the marketing and PR strategy lead for all education philanthropy programs to help drive engagement and achievement in STEM education using mobile technology, especially among undeserved communities.
