This position is responsible for the operation of a department. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary.
Essential Functions
An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Executes creative designs and concepts that will advance Merchandising, Marketing, and branding objectives by working with other Design Team members (for example, Senior Graphic Designers, Copywriters); utilizing design templates to create multiple creative solutions to solve marketing problems; meeting business and communication objectives outlined in directives (for example, creative briefs); and making recommendations to prioritize and escalate design issues.
Manages the maintenance and direction of small marketing projects under the guidance of Creative leadership by participating in design critiques; responding to requests for design support; developing style guides; delivering projects within estimated time frames; keeping up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and the competitive landscape; and understanding the capabilities of company technologies (for example, platform, marketing, mobile, social).
Provides support for Senior Designers, Art Directors, and Creative Leads by searching photography websites for stock images; selecting images for creative projects based on design specifications; and maintaining file servers and reference material archives.
Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.
Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.

Physical Activities

Enters and locates information on computer. Presents information to small or large groups and individuals. Communicates effectively in person or by using telecommunications equipment. Creates documents, reports, etc., using a writing instrument (such as a pencil or pen) or computer. Visually verifies information, often in small print. Reads information, often in small print.
Entry Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Advertising, Fine Arts, or related field OR 3 years experience in interactive design or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
• 1 year experience managing interactive projects in an online creative or related digital field.
• 2 years experience working with design software (for example, Adobe Creative Suite), including proficiency in advanced functions (for example, multi-layer masking and compositing).
• 1 year experience working with animation software (for example, Adobe Flash, HTML5). • 1 year experience working with HTML, CSS, and/or JavaScript.
