Job Summary and Mission

The Sr. Designer for digital creative digital content is a critical role in making our client one of the most engaging, thoughtful and innovative digital Brands in the world by supporting site marketing creative, marketing communications, site development and environmental design.

The person in this position possesses an understanding of the elements and principles of design particularly in a digital space. They understand what it takes to extends creative across marketing channels and how it works in a retail, mobile, and website environment.


Key Responsibilities

A Sr. Designer on the Global Digital Marketing team is the glue in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. This role is responsible for delivering pixel perfect files across digital marketing channels for the Client Brand (with occasional contribution to other client Brands).

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Daily design, production, and art direction across mobile apps, eCommerce, websites, emails, social channels, environmental/exhibition design and future digital properties.
Version campaign assets across digital marketing channels
Work with Creative Directors and other creative team members to develop and produce brand content
Ensures that work adheres product and channel guidelines
Deliver assets, files, documents, etc to appropriate cross-functional partners at the right times
Contributes to building and maintaining a strong team-oriented environment

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Business
Develop an understanding of the Client brand (in-store and online) and be an advocate for the brand within the team and its projects
Develop an understanding the brands we sell so that you can accurately represent them in your daily tasks
Insistence on adhering to creative strategy (including budgets and timelines) based on the project brief, creative criteria, brand attributes and expected production values

Ideas
An innovative and strategic thinker who exhibits a relentlessly creative thought process
Thrive (and keep smiling) in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Adobe CC is your second language
Ability to collaborate with writers, other designers, and business partners (clients)

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
5–8 years of professional experience with a design firm or advertising agency
Expertise in concept-driven creative
Impeccable design, typographic, and compositional skills
Ability to track deliverables, meet deadlines, and communicate well with team members
Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines within challenging time frames
Ability to learn from critique and apply feedback effectively
Demonstrates strong layout, typographic, production skills with a strong portfolio and process
Experience designing for an across mobile apps, eCommerce, websites, emails, and social channels
Expertise in Adobe CS, knowledge of Sketch and other digital production tools

Extra Credit If You
Can demonstrate abilities in motion graphics and/or video editing
Can demonstrate proficiency in hand lettering and illustration
Can demonstrate proficiency in photography and retouching

Business Challanges: Looking for a strong Digital Art Direction minded team member to be a key, individual contributor in bringing our Client digital content to life. This roll will be focused on collaborating across in-house teams and agency partners to source, create, edit and augment content to live in built environments, mobile experiences and traditional websites.
