Sr. Web Analyst

Our client is looking for a Web Analytics Lead who will manage measurement and analysis for a full service HR portal. This position will define business processes for measurement and analysis using Web Trends. Position offers an exceptional opportunity to create a measurement program and use analytics to improve the user experience. This position will also be a primary liaison to their Communications Group as they expand their use of the web as a primary communication vehicle for more than 150,000 employees.

The Web Analytics Lead will:

Measure and Analyze
• Establish a program and business process to analyze web traffic and translate analysis into recommendations for improvement.
• Work with web delivery project teams to define measurement programs for new functionality.
• Work with Communication groups to establish and measure ongoing, web campaigns.
• Liaison to technical team supporting Web Trends.
• Partner with technical team on Web Trend projects: conversions, upgrades.
• Overall subject matter expert to team on web analytics.

Partner with Communications to deploy and measure web campaigns
• Work with Communications to plan editorial calendar of campaigns.
• Coordinate implementation of web campaigns with web developer team.
• Produce reports to track communication areas of site and email click through rates to analyze effectiveness of web campaigns and communications
• Analyze and package findings for presentation to Communications group to optimize communications.
• Marketing orientation to help improve the quality of web campaigns with effective graphics, copy etc. and measure impact of improvements.

Report and Present Web Analytics
• Prepare ongoing operational reporting to clients for their web delivery.
• Establish an overall baseline set of metrics to report on overall use of web channel for communications and support of HR operations.
• Ability to package and report web analytics in an understandable way – avoiding web trend jargon and the ‘so what’ effect.
• Design and produce quarterly and annual report to communicate how HR portal is performing in meeting goals and success measures.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to educate clients on effective web delivery through analysis of what works and what doesn’t.
• Ability to present metrics to a variety of audiences including executives
