1) Visual Designer in NYC
Need a designer to come in and focus on implementing team vision for evolving brand. Must be a rock star at PowerPoint, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. History of taking creative direction well and producing in a fast-paced environment. Will need to take skill assessment online test (30 minutes to confirm skills at programs mentioned above).

JOB DESCRIPTION
Aquent's client is searching for a Senior Designer to join our growing marketing team in New York City. This role will be responsible for creating dynamic, though-provoking materials that span the client's extensive portfolios. The Senior Designer should be a forward-thinker and perpetual student with an eye-toward innovation and the ever-evolving world of media. They will have experience managing digital, print and multimedia creative projects from start to finish. The right candidate will have the ability to translate insights into compelling and cohesive marketing materials including marketing presentations, sales materials, collateral, direct email, web sites, videos and more. The Senior Designer will work with multiple teams including marketing, sales, and operations as well as other groups within the company on specified project needs. In this position you will report to the Marketing Manager.
RESPONSIBILTIES
Work closely with the creative team to concept and plan execution
Partner with Director of Consumer Insights to propel data and analytics stories into marketing and sales materials that resonate with clients and outside media
Elevate this company's brands through visually exciting sales presentations, collateral design, sales materials, video, invitations, direct email and more
Develop conceptual and stylistic direction and execute same for a wide variety of communications projects
Manage outside vendors including printers, rich media producers, premium companies
Consistently forage new ideas, materials and vendors to remain on the forefront of emerging media design
Develop design ideas that work across media. i.e. website, social media, video, interactive and print
Participate in creative brainstorms
Work closely with a marketing managers to schedule projects and coordinate production
Develop tactics which bring creative concepts to life and achieve program objectives
Prepare client creative presentations
Manage multiple jobs simultaneously
Work effectively with external vendors and internal colleagues to complete projects within timeframe and budget
Create rapid prototypes to present ideas and concepts to various teams
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
7-10 Years professional design experience in an agency, TV network, digital media company, or similar
Expert level of competency in PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Proficient HTML, Flash, and CSS skills a plus
Ability to take direction to meet creative and business needs
Strong understanding of implementation technologies and how to design with limitations
Extreme attention to detail and consistency
Excellent production and project management skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Adept at problem solving, analyzing information and choosing the best solution
Ability to multi-task and work effectively under tight deadlines
