Sr. Visual Designer

As Senior Visual Designer, you will define, design and build future user interfaces of digital products and applications. You will be responsible for translating interactive problems into engaging consumer experiences in a fast-paced, agile, environment.

You will work closely with engineering, product management, marketing, and company leaders to successfully go from early stage product concepts to launch. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open and collaborative peer environment.

The ideal candidate for this position will be at ease visualizing an experience in the abstract and then being able to drive that vision into solid design deliverables.

The Senior Visual Designer should have deep experience and practical expertise in both product user interface (Android and iOS) and website design programs.

Responsibilities:
Visual design for PC web tools. Mobile and Web UI visual design, Icon systems, Flash prototypes, documentation of designs

Develop high and low-fidelity prototypes illustrating advanced interaction design concepts

Collaborate with product managers, researchers, visual designers, interaction designers, usability experts, and developers to deliver innovative product designs

Conceive and create experience-oriented design solutions that fulfill strategic business objectives

Skills/Experience:
Visual design for PC web tools.
Experience designing native and mobile web apps for Android and iOS 5+ years experience in visual design (at least 3+ years designing mobile apps)
A strong working knowledge of interaction design, user-centered experience design, brand development, digital marketing and the ux creative process
Strong ability to multi-task on several short and long-term projects.
Excellent presentation skills and communication abilities at all levels of both internal and client organizations
Online portfolio that demonstrates your ability to turn ideas into a strong and unique creative vision.

Experience using the standard tools of the design trade, e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Visio or Omnigraffle, Dreamweaver and HTML/CSS. HTML/CSS

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in design, media, or user experience.
