Sr. User Experience Architect

Minimum of 7 years of user experience design experience for software and web applications that leverage emergent technologies, consumer electronics and/or mobile devices.
Expert understanding of information architecture, workflows, concept development and interaction design
Fluent in creating information architecture documentation including sitemaps, user flow diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes.
Expert-level understanding of user interface design patterns and standard UCD methodologies.
Ability to tell compelling stories about your designs and present your work with confidence
Applied facilitation, brainstorming and collaboration exercise skills
Must possess exceptional attention to detail
Superior oral and written communication and presentation skills
Experience in working with developers in agile
Ability to prioritize projects, communicate progress, and deliver on time
BS or MS in in Human Computer Interaction, Interaction Design or related field or equivalent work experience in User Experience, Information Architecture or Interaction Design
High level of competency in Axure


DESCRIPTION
As Sr. User Experience Interaction Designer you will focus on creating compelling, highly-intuitive

experiences for a variety of projects (responsive web, mobile, tablets, TVs…) and will act as the user

advocate throughout the product development lifecycle.

You need to be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences, be able to problem solve,

be self-motivated and have excellent attention to detail. You will be expected to communicate with clients,

provide insight into UX decisions and collaborate with your project team.

This is a key role working alongside the Director of Design and UX, will see you create cutting edge

experiences across a wide range of personal technology devices for some of the Happiest Place on Earth.



The UX Interaction Designer is responsible for:

 Presenting concepts to clients, stakeholders and project teams.

 Communicating ideas, best practices and guiding principles for creating world-class user

experiences.

 Creating wireframes, interaction design, user flows and key UX documentation.

 Creating prototypes for the use of stakeholder presentations and usability testing.

 Supporting project discovery and scoping workshops.

 Conducting user research and competitive analysis.

 Translating business requirements into documented navigation flows and wireframes.

 Prepare all interaction design documents and write guidelines.

 Create page templates, IDs, and names.

 Contribute to the development of interaction standards and guidelines.

 Document and effectively communicate research findings.

 Working closely with UI design and development to ensure ideas can be implemented as

presented.

 Self Starter. High level of motivation to solve existing problems while anticipating new issues.

 BA/BS in HCI, Design, Comp Sci or related field.

 Demonstrated knowledge of UX design responsive sites

 Ability to create solutions designed to scale and grow over time, as the functionality and content

matures and as user requirements evolve

 Ability to work effectively within a team environment, collaborating with dev, visual design and

producers.

 Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.

 URL portfolio with interaction examples and click-through prototypes
