Sr. UX/UI Designer

Immediate start date
-70% of time spent collaborating with development team
-30% of time spent collaborating with design team
-Experience with both print & digital; will be spending majority of time in Photoshop & Illustrator; able to take big data and make it visually appealing, hiring manager/team loves infographics
-basic skills in HTML/CSS, but after wireframing, it will be built by FEDs
-process involved, high fidelity comps, able to tell a story, give dimension, ideation, collaboration
-the product dev. lifecycle is not as continuous as an agency, but brand direction calls for someone to work closely with their creative team and be engaged with the conceptual flow/planning
-ideal background is 10-15 years (as an example) who started career as a visual designer and evolved into UX as it became relevant
-having strong aesthetic chops and able to collaborate within a team or work individually is a must

UX/Designer to work in-house with our Creative and Product Development teams. The ideal candidate should be passionate about creating intuitive, beautiful, and engaging digital
experiences for products within our healthcare financial platform. This designer will be responsible for developing and prototyping strong visual concepts and UX design all the way to final sign-off with the development team. Will report to both the Creative Director as well as the Director of Development of our Product Development Team.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the digital and creative teams to brainstorm, research,

wireframe, and refine user experiences.

• Produce development-ready visual designs for site templates and features.

• Work with our product development team from prototype through the full

implementation process. Going through different iterations refining visual

designs and across the Company's digital products.

Qualifications:

• Understanding of User Experience thinking and a drive to turn user needs

into clear and compelling experiences.

• Strong conceptual, problem solving skills and interest in all aspects

of design.

• 5+ years of professional experience delivering innovative concepts

and digital solutions. Agency experience is definitely a welcome plus.

• Degree or equivalent experience in interactive design and/or graphic design.

• Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS and Wordpress framework.

• Familiarity with Agile Development methodologies.

• Advanced knowledge of Adobe CC products.

After Effects and motion graphics a plus.

• Strong visual design portfolio that demonstrates a solid grasp of design,

typography, and composition.

• Interest in modern design and a good eye for emerging trends on the web.

• Critical / analytical thinker who can provide outside-the-box ideas.

• Detail oriented and able to adapt to shifting deadlines and project requirements

in a very fast paced environment.

• Experience working in cross-functional teams.

• Excellent verbal / written communication skills, maturity, and the ability to

collaborate across teams.

• Sense of humor
