Sr. UX/Architect Designer - MOBILE

Our client is looking for a full-time senior user experience designer for Client’s User Experience team. The UX team creates user experience solutions for Client’s flagship site and brands as well as numerous extranets, deals management tools and customer care admin sites.

The User Experience team resides within Client’s Product team. As a result, you will have early influence into projects and will work collaboratively with product managers and customer care to develop experiences that meet business objectives and the needs of the consumer.

The right candidate is someone who is passionate about great design and its ability to influence how both businesses and consumers think about travel. You strive for design perfection, but also love to release and iterate. You develop big ideas, and execute flawlessly against them in a highly collaborative environment. Your designs are engaging, innovative, follow usability best practices and reinforce Client’s’s brand.

Our Fortune 1000 client is looking for a Sr. UX/Architect Designer & 2 UX Designers for Client's User Experience team.

The Sr. UX/Architect Designer FOCUS: Architecture, Project Lead, Self-Starter - UX Focus, UI helpful but not necessary. This is not a visual design role - 5-7 years of experience.


The Sr. will Lead the projects with the support of the Designers! As A TEAM....

Design great user experiences and/or interfaces for websites and related products by proactively working on projects and other initiatives, setting deliverables and deadlines, and help to drive projects to completion. The Sr. Designer will lead brainstorming activities, as needed. Define, categorize, and organize content. Create multiple solutions to a single design problem and iterate to a few alternate designs. Create specification as needed, including site maps, flow diagrams, state transition diagrams, wireframes, and interactive prototypes. Prepare and share project and/or design presentations to the extended Expedia organization. Rationalize design decisions to stakeholders and peers. Support the execution of the Product Development roadmap and other initiatives. Provide insights on where user needs are not being met at the feature level. Provide recommendations on ongoing product strategy based on qualitative and quantitative data. Coordinate or execute user research efforts, e.g., interviews, usability testing, and surveys, as needed.
