As Lead User Experience and Interaction Designer you will focus on creating compelling, highly-intuitive experiences for a variety of projects (responsive web, mobile, tablets, TVs…) and will act as the user advocate throughout the product development lifecycle.
You need to be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences, be able to problem solve, be self-motivated and have excellent attention to detail. You will be expected to communicate with executives, provide insight into UX decisions and collaborate with your project team.
This is a key role working alongside the Director of Product, Sr. Manger of User Experience and Engineering, creating cutting edge experiences across a wide range of personal technology devices for some of the Happiest Place on Earth.
The Lead UX and Interaction Designer is responsible for:
Lead project discovery and scoping workshops.
Build best practices and UX/interaction standards with guidance from the Sr. Manager of UX
Create analytics plans to support UX decisions and measure against business metrics.
Presenting concepts to executives and project teams.
Communicating ideas, best practices and guiding principles for creating world-class user experiences.
Creating wireframes, interaction design, user flows and key UX documentation.
Creating prototypes for the use of stakeholder presentations and usability testing.
Conducting user research and competitive analysis.
Translating business requirements into documented navigation flows and wireframes.
Prepare all interaction design documents and write guidelines.
Create page templates, IDs, and names.
Document and effectively communicate research findings.
Working closely with UI design and development to ensure ideas can be implemented as presented.

Agency Experience a Plus, Tech Entertainment preferred (Netflix, Hulu, etc.)
Demonstrated experience with various user testing methodologies
BI & Analytic integration experience – measuring UX against consumer & business goals
Self Starter. High level of motivation to solve existing problems while anticipating new issues.
BA/BS in HCI, Design, Comp Sci or related field.
Demonstrated knowledge of UX design responsive sites
Ability to create solutions designed to scale and grow over time, as the functionality and content
matures and as user requirements evolve
Ability to work effectively within a team environment, collaborating with dev, visual design and
