We are looking fora Sr. UX Researcher for our Athletic E-commerce brand. Do you have a passion to uncover insights that inform and inspire innovative experiences? The UX experience team is seeking a talented and passionate Senior User Experience Researcher. This is an exceptional opportunity to join the team and help our teams better understand their consumers and put their needs at the center of our design process.

In this role, you’ll work with customers and collaborate with our UX team to uncover insights that lead to innovation and outstanding customer experiences. We’re looking for someone who has experience with a variety of lab based and field research methods and a proven track record for uncovering actionable insights. This researcher will have a significant impact on our business executing innovative, influential user research that shapes the customer experience . The researcher will work collaboratively with product managers, executives, designers, the brand, and other researchers to help drive the vision for increasing customer engagement on our commerce platform. We’re looking for a strong and vocal user advocate with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of different user research methodologies, past experience with UX research in either advertising or e-commerce, and the ability to introduce new approaches when appropriate.


Responsibilities:
• Develop a strong understanding of our customers, business objectives and company mission
• Maintain consistent, clear and actionable customer advocacy
• Inform and inspire the global product management teams to create leading user experience solutions on the website
• Partner with Product Managers and User Experience Design leaders to manage research requests, collect briefs and prioritize business questions
• Plan and execute research activities that align with our business goals and uncover customer needs that result in actionable recommendations
• Lead synthesis of qualitative and quantitative customer data in the form of a presentation to inform and influence stakeholders
• Work with UX Designers, Product Managers and project teams to influence product decisions and integrate insights into design deliverables
• Conduct and participate in ideation and collaborative workshops as required
• Develop best practices including methods, measurements and cutting edge user research practices
• Commit to a user centered process, quality, and continuous improvement
• Manage open and timely communication with internal stakeholders

Experience:
• Passion for the consumer and advocate for their needs
• Mastery of a variety of qualitative research methods
• Proven track record conducting interviews, usability tests, site visits, card sorts, focus groups, user profiling, task analysis and diary studies
• Experience designing and executing test plans in the field, in the lab or using digital methods
• Experience developing deep insights and customer advocacy in product teams
• Strong command of user experience principles, design methodologies and collaborative problem solving
• Portfolio of past work and case studies that illustrates a drive towards customer understanding and actionable design direction
• Excellence in capturing business goals and working with collaborative teams
• Clear communication, problem-solving, facilitation and presentation skills
• Established experience in e-commerce
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative to solve problems
• Design agency experience is a plus
• 5 + years of proven success leading User Research projects in e-commerce or advertising with demonstrated impact
• BS in HCDE, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or similar
