Major purpose: Helps plan and envision holistic customer-centric experiences to inform the direction of user experience designs across multiple e-commerce platforms. Facilitates strategic, customer-centric decision making with key business partners using consumer insights gathered from customer research, industry trends, and user experience best practices.
Major responsibilities and duties: Actively serve as an experience advocate that works directly with eCommerce business partners to understand long-term business needs, recommend research approach, distill insights that leads to business solutions.

Conducts generative research activities to help identify key customer opportunities.

Reviews customer data from many sources to identify opportunities by synthesizing data and distilling key insights.

Understands frameworks and knows how to use them to help business partners prioritize product features and capability.

Create compelling reports, deliverables and case studies that are comprehensive yet brief, and facilitate decision-making.

Demonstrate advanced and confident communication and decision-making skills, both verbal and visual.

Help envision an experience strategy that aligns with the organization’s business strategy & objectives.

Helps create a continuously evolving experience roadmap that articulates a vision of where the experience needs to be based on the business roadmap.
Requirements: Years of experience: 5 – 7 years

Background in user experience strategy, experience design, human factors, service design, and other related user experience disciplines.

Advanced degree in design, psychology, human factors, technology or HCI is preferred.

Experience with complex transactional experience (e.g. e-commerce businesses, financial, account driven applications, etc.), must have a strong portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables (e.g. journey maps, user flows, ideation workshops, site maps, concept maps, etc.)

Experience in B2B experience required; MRO industry considered a plus.

Proven track record of leading successful teams.

The ideal candidate would be a self-starter with diplomatic problem solving skills with the ability to think big, sell ideas, and execute in a collaborative work environment with e-commerce business partners to design experiences that drive revenue growth.
