Sr. UX Interaction Designer

One of our Fortune 500 clients and world’s premiere management consulting is looking for a ROCK STAR FRONT END UX DESIGNER in their SF office. Their newly created Digital Labs department combines unparalleled business knowledge with a world-class agile development process to offer distinctive support for enterprise IT enablement.

The UX Designer is responsible for delivering products to the highest quality. Some examples of these products include, native apps for multiple platforms, responsive websites, interactive data visualizations, etc. You will help translate the product vision into plans (wire-frames) and also closely manage the implementation of those plans. Strong Collaboration with other team members and external agencies is expected.

Successful candidates will be able to bring a Design Sensibility and Clean, Crisp and Functional Design aesthetic to the project. Being able to rethink their site usability, UI and mobile assets, while offering a fresh approach and strategy will be expected. Delivering wire-frames that demonstrate a well thought-out user experience, while showing where existing and new content and navigation would be best laid out will be a major part of the position. A theoretical mindset and approach would be benefit. Having a strong Global Brand knowledge is required. The “THINKING BEHIND THE SOLUTION” as well as Problem Solving is Highly Preferred. Big Name Professional Services experience is also an advantage.

Responsibilities
• Gather, organize, and prioritize UX requirements. Work with our digital team and internal clients make recommendations based on cost/benefit and degree to which they meet the user’s and the Firm’s goals
• Work with external agencies and vendors on larger brand and technical projects. Manage UX requirements and augment agency work with internal due diligence including landscape analysis, user testing, etc.
• Identify and problem solve roadblocks to successful task completion
• Work closely with internal clients, communications specialists, design team, external agencies, and IT as needed through development process
• Test/review all project work entering production to ensure integrity and monitor quality through and after deployment
• Bring an “agency” mindset to the firm’s digital communications team
• Drive productive meetings and assist with team administrative tasks

Skills, Knowledge and Experience
• 7+ years’ experience developing and managing the user experience for digital products
• Strong management skills, able to take ownership, prioritize, and manage multiple deadlines with minimal supervision
• Comfort juggling multiple tasks and working under deadline pressure
• Deep knowledge of best practices and digital trends for Web and native user experiences
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly in communicating with firm’s internal clients
• Ability to work well in a team environment
