Sr. UX Designer

The User Experience designer will be responsible for being the customer advocate, creating experiences that help and delight customers who use and purchase our client's products and services. To start, your focus will be creating experiences for three desktop E-commerce sites and eventually branching off to an Omni-channel approach creating experiences for multiple touch points such as desktop and mobile.

You will report to the Manager of User Experience in E-Commerce. You'll be encouraged to participate in a high level of collaboration between cross-functional business partners such as, Product Management, IT, Business Analysts, User Experience Designers, Visual Designers, Marketing, and QA.

We're looking for someone who can:
-Focus on creating experiences that meet business and user goals rather than producing deliverables for deliverables sake.
-Utilize sketching, wireframes, and rapid prototyping to get your designs in front of customers as quick as possible and iterate on them quickly after.
-Conduct and set up user testing on a biweekly basis to collect feedback on your designs and review findings with the entire team.
-Seeks an understanding of product systems to design experiences that take into account their constraints.
-Collect and make sense of qualitative and quantitative data from sources such as call centers, focus groups, card sorting, usability tests, customer support emails, analytics, and surveys.
-Feel comfortable working in a waterfall environment transitioning into an agile environment.

You'll need experience with the following tools and methods:
-Sketching to think through complex design problems.
-Wireframing
-Rapid Prototyping
-Axure
-Usability testing and analyzing test results
-Using and adding to a pattern library/style guide
-Site Mapping
-Heuristic Reviews
-Information Architecture
-Agile Environment
-High-level discovery sessions
-Personas
-Experience participating in, and defining, user experience processes including identifying best practices.

Requirements:
-Time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing, and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
-Interacted and collaborated with creative teams, business owners and/or technical teams
-Experience performing usability testing.
