Are you ready to change the world with a product that will revolutionize the automotive industry"

You have the opportunity to design the future of car financing. Imagine a world where financing a car is as easy as buying a pair of shoes. Impossible right? If you’re the sort of person who says no, it IS possible, then you’re the person for us.

Auto financing? Where is the design opportunity in that?

The fact is that our product is deeply human-centered. Our biggest challenge is taking a complicated process and making it intuitive for the person sitting next to you on the bus. To do that, we need someone who can translate complex ideas into an easy-to-understand experience. Problems like these need a UX Designer who is deeply committed to making sure the work we produce is useable, intuitive and intelligent.

The Position:
As a Senior UX Designer, you will own the research, strategy, information architecture, and interaction design for mobile and web experiences. You must effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas and detailed design rationale both verbally and visually to our team. You will participate in user testing, building wireframes, flows, functional prototypes, and more - keeping an eye on overall goals while getting your hands dirty at the same time. You must be comfortable collaborating closely with product managers, designers and engineers to champion the voice of the user while balancing the needs of the business.
More specifically, you will:
• Create wireframes, annotations, and prototypes to illustrate user interactions
• Design usage scenarios, user flows and information architecture
• Lead research and testing efforts and quickly and succinctly summarize and prioritize findings for future iterations of the product
• Develop information and content that graphically represents quantitative data or information elements
• Create design briefs that outline design iterations, prioritized concepts and timelines
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with the Company-wide creative partners and other business verticals for new ideas and experiences
• Enthusiastically champion the value of design and the needs of the user in the company culture
• Stand up for best user centered design practices and principles and defend design decisions by clearly articulating your rationale
• A sharp eye for detail and highly developed organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Pitch in to support other functions (e.g. sales, product) as needed

Desired qualifications
• Minimum 3 – 5 years of UX design experience, preferably in a high-growth tech company
• Portfolio demonstrating strong mobile UX experience, attention to detail, and the ability to balance simplicity, innovation and usability
• Able to lead and work well with a team in a dynamic, cross-discipline, highly collaborative and iterative setting
• Track record of designing complex web and mobile apps
• Thorough understanding of user-centered design patterns and best practices for web and mobile
• Fluency with Sketch, Illustrator and InDesign
• Proficiency leading usability testing leveraging prototyping tools: e.g. InVision, Framer, Pixate, Principal, etc
• (Preferred) Bachelor’s degree in interaction design or another relevant design field
• (Preferred) HTML / CSS skills for prototyping and refining production code
