Description
Conduct various forms of research to inform recommendations; can be inclusive of key insights shared direct from network retailers/partners
Advocate for customer experience improvements based upon business objectives and vision for a set of capabilities; frequently pitches to senior management
Define and design interactive, narrative wireframes, used to validate the business value, usability and feasibility of a new product idea in collaboration with UX Analysts, UX Designers and Lead developers
Evaluate new solution offerings, vendor evaluation matrices, and selection
Manage the vendor relationships to track their performance and provide recommendations on how to advance the relationship and product roadmaps, as needed
Identify and benchmark KPIs to prioritize business objectives for an experience
Provide recommendations on Usability Testing approach
Manage all aspects of Usability testing; including vendor selection, contract negotiation, Usability Testing logistics, respondent criteria, and testing artifacts.
Oversee management and full set of capabilities in flight with A/B, total ROI for the business, and vendor relationship cadence
Collaborate with other team members; works frequently with developers on documenting and implementing solutions
Define projects in terms of scope, acceptance criteria, schedules, and roadmaps together with Business, Service Delivery, and IT partners following AGILE methodology
Train and mentor a junior or user experience analyst, increasing in scope and responsibility over time, to include a small group of usability analysts
Drive user experience capabilities with the capacity to increase scope and responsibility over time
Develop a thorough understanding of Academy policies, procedures, and safety rules
Duties may change; associates may be required to perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor’s degree in Digital Design, Graphic Design, Human Computer Interaction, Interactive media, or equivalent years of related work experience required
3-5 years of UX, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), and User-Centered Design principles (UCD) experience
Experience in a retail industry preferred
Champions new ideas and guides teams toward creative UX solutions by leveraging insights and metrics
Lead the execution of special projects
Ability to complete research, competitive analysis, user/stakeholder reviews, analytics and un-biased recommendations in a highly collaborative environment
Inspire creativity by leveraging experience and out-of-the-box thinking
Proficient with user-centric design
Knowledge of effective usability skills to advocate and promote standards for usability and user-centered design
Self-motivated and able to work independently; able to assess and execute without direction
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills to articulate complex business problems into simple terms
Experienced presenting and selling new ideas to senior management teams
Ability to effectively prioritize workload in a fast paced, frequently changing environment while remaining detailed and organized
Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties
