Sr. Statistical Business Analyst

Our client is a giant in the TELECOMMUNICATIONS INDUSTRY and has asked for our help identifying a first rate SENIOR STATISTICAL BUSINESS ANALYST for a long term contract engagement.

Location- Basking Ridge, NJ or Irvine CA, or Bellevue, WA or Chandler, AZ
Hourly Pay Rate: $53-$58/hour Non-Exempt
Weekly hours- 40 hours per week
Type- long term contract. Will NOT convert to a perm position
Benefits- subsidized medical, dental, vision and 401k


Work site office locations can be either Basking Ridge NJ, Irvine CA, Bellevue WA or Chandler AZ

Candidate MUST be committed to contract through the end of 2015 and be open to the possibility of staying on for 30 months.


Job Description:
Responsible for all levels of learning effectiveness measurement with a heavy emphasis on data collection and statistical analysis, ranging from post-class surveys to changes in business metrics.

Core responsibilities (not limited to the following):
• Gather participant information and, if applicable control group data
• Analyze survey and test results data
• Analyze business results, includes; trending, statistical analysis, data correlations, analysis of variance, group tests for significant differences
• Translate business impacts to return on investment
• Calculate ROI
• Calculate training costs
• Summarize findings in 1 to 2 page summary format and extended detail presentations

• BA/BS college degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with applied statistical analysis, interpretation and reporting of data
• Current or prior relevant job experience with case studies
• Expert in statistical software (e.g. SPSS, SAS, Minitabs, etc.)

Expert – MS Excel and MS Access
• Experience reading and writing SQL
• Experience with Business Intelligence reporting tools – preferably Cognos
• Experience with Peoplesoft ELM
• Strong Proficiency – MS Word and MS PowerPoint
• Ability to work tool agnostic with survey data (i.e., directional survey tool not yet decided; current survey toolset includes several tools)
• Proven ability to produce statistical analysis of business metrics (i.e. Customer Service, Sales, Human Resources)
• Commitment to integrity and quality work
• Work well with virtual team and cross-department (i.e., Learning community, Learning Leaders, Finance, Customer Service Ops, Sales Ops)
• Effectively work on projects with supporting members and independently
• Must be flexible and comfortable working with unknowns and in a change-filled environment (our mantra - “Change Energizes Us”
• Ability to communicate case study findings to training leaders

The following are a strong plus – not required:
• Current or prior relevant job experience with Training & Development
• Master executer of all Measurement Levels in Phillips model – Levels 0 to 5 including large-scale case studies statistical analysis

• Must work full-time at client's office- NO REMOTE
• Commitment to contract through rest of 2014 and all of 2015
• Open to long-term contract up to 30 months
